| Birthday Celebration! |
On September 26th 2012, I drew this medicine card, reminding me to be more grateful:
Gratitude
"The spirit of "Shaman Tree" came through a feeling of gratitude for the elder forest with an intention to paint a Shaman who would help transform the unconscious destruction of the great trees that have been occurring on our planet. He is "The Green Man" from the Celtic tradition. The spirit of Shaman Tree exists everywhere, even in the concrete jungle.
In the painting a tree grows out of the top of his head. The roots and branches appear to have no beginning, and no end, connecting you to Heaven and grounding you to Earth. Redefining your deep infinite knowing, and ever reaching, seeking nature. He assists in the conscious communication to the divine essence in all things. The Shaman is an astral traveler through cosmic doorways. Preforming these journeys he is filled with Gratitude, for he heals members of his human tribe, animal, and plant kingdom.
Imagine this day represents a reflection of what is and what will be. By expressing Gratitude for what is, you confirm your conscious choice of manifestations and prompt the universe to deliver. In giving thanks now for what will be, you are energetically attracting these intentions into your reality. These moments of Gratitude are nurturing seeds, empowering intentions, supporting change for a more vibrant relationship with you, and your world. So on this day, and every day connect with nature in some way. Remember to be grateful for what is. Go forth in Gratitude flowing with a smile in your heart.
The Gratitude medicine card is a reminder to observe the love in your world, and give thanks for all that you give and receive. When you are in harmony with nature, then magic and beauty are everywhere. Living in Gratitude you are not only honoring yourself and nature, but also offering a generous gift to humanity."
