Las Vegas Highlights!

Our trip to Las Vegas started off right with two "plane" gin and tonics and a golf chat with a 65 year old man across the aisle nicknamed Schmitty.

After checking into The Flamingo and meeting up with our group of 14 people we went to a buffet dinner. We took up an offer and bought a 24 hour buffet pass. This meant we spent a decent amount of our first day in Vegas eating. After dinner we went to a club on top of a roof. We danced and enjoyed the view!

Sunday was gorgeous! We walked the strip and won 110.00 dollars off of a penny machine. We got to watch the water show to Faith Hill's "This Kiss!" I loved it.

We went to a Penn & Teller Show. It was AMAZING!
It was so was magical, I followed it up with a fish bowl.

After being buffeted, gambled, and fish bowled out, we decided to spend our last night in Vegas downtown. The Freemont Street Experience was one to remember. We watched the light show, listened to some music, played bingo, ate the 11.99 steak & lobster special, and tested out the Freemont Street ziplining!

As with every vacation, we had such a great time but are glad to be home. We spent today getting back into routine. Tyler enjoyed a day with his patients while Mira, Ian, and I lounged inside and watched Portland's rain fall.
