The word "bovine" was introduced to me a few weeks ago in the context of a "bovine food allergy." Since then I have seen this word twice. Once, this morning while reading supplement facts: bovine liver, bovine bone, bovine spleen, bovine adrena, bovine liver fat. Then again today, while reading: "Baxter, the Pig Who Wanted to Be Kosher." Poor Baxter, he had practiced mooing, "acquired a handy set of horns. He cultivated a taste for clover [and] he felt fairly certain he was nearly bovine" but he still wasn't Kosher.
